In 2016, I conducted research on vertical versus horizontal video. Nearly a decade ago, before TikTok (2017), Instagram Reels (2020), and short-form video became popular as we know nowadays, I created this video series as a message of mobile-first storytelling and changing viewer behavior.
Popdocumentary Amersfoort
Popdocu Amersfoort 033 is a documentary project about the pop and music culture of Amersfoort, my hometown. It explores the city’s local music scene, artists, venues, and stories, showing how pop music has shaped Amersfoort’s identity over the years. The project raised more than €4,000 in funding, and has been screened twice in the local theater, and has been picked up by different newspapers.
